This privacy policy applies to the QR Barcode: Scanner & Creator app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices developed by Than Dana. This SERVICE is provided "as is" and is intended for use as a professional, high-performance scanning and generation tool.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.

1. 100% Offline Logic & Data Collection

We strictly prioritize your privacy. The core functionality of this Application (scanning and generating QR codes/barcodes) is designed to operate completely offline. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any remote servers.

All scanned history and generated QR codes are saved securely in a local SQLite database directly on your device. Your data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly choose to share or export it.

2. App Permissions Explained

To provide you with a full-featured experience, the Application requires specific device permissions. We use these permissions solely for the functioning of the app:

Camera Permission: Used strictly for scanning 1D and 2D barcodes in real-time. No images or videos are ever recorded, saved, or sent to any server.
Location Permission: Used only when you choose to generate a Location QR code or use the Map Picker to auto-detect your current coordinates. Your location data is never tracked in the background.
Storage / Photos Permission: Required for three specific features:
1. To allow you to scan and decode existing QR/barcodes directly from images saved in your device's gallery.
2. To save your generated custom QR codes (as Transparent PNG or Vector SVG) to your device.
3. To export your scan history as a CSV file.
We only access the specific images you select for scanning. We do not access, scan, or upload any other personal photos or files from your device.

3. Third-Party Services

While the app functions offline, we utilize certain third-party services for specific features and monetization. These services may collect device identifiers and usage data according to their own Privacy Policies:

Google AdMob: We use AdMob to serve advertisements (such as Rewarded Ads to unlock Pro features). AdMob may collect device IP addresses and advertising IDs to serve personalized ads. View Google's Privacy Policy.
OpenStreetMap: Our location picker feature loads map tiles provided by OpenStreetMap. View OpenStreetMap's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Deletion & User Control

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can clear your entire scan and creation history at any time by tapping the "Delete Sweep" icon within the app. Uninstalling the application will also permanently erase all associated local data from your device.

5. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary actions.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
